Sea West often has a variety of employment opportunities available at our administrative office in Oakland, located at the site of the former Oak Knoll Naval Hospital, our Alameda service center on Coast Guard Island, and at USCG TRACEN in Petaluma. 

The Credit Union looks for motivated and friendly employees to join the Sea West team.  Military retirees, as well as their family members, are encouraged to apply for Credit Union employment.

Candidates must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent. Background checks are conducted and candidates must be bondable.  Sea West is an equal opportunity employer.

 

 Current positions open:

 

 Administrative Coordinator (Reporting to the President/CEO)

Position  performs a wide range of administrative and project coordination responsibilities to facilitate the day-to-day operations and the strategic work of the Credit Union.  The Administrative Coordinator assists in the implementation of administrative systems, procedures and policies and monitors administrative projects.

 

Manager, Alameda Service Center

Position oversees Alameda branch operation in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures and applicable federal/state requirements.  The Manager provides leadership and direction to service center personnel ensuring Credit Union members receive quality service.

 

Collector

Position handles a variety of collection activities including working with Credit Union members in establishing repayment agreements and maintaining accurate account records.

 

Telephone Services Representative

Position assists Credit Union members via the telephone with inquiries, financial transactions, and problem resolution as well as cross-selling the Credit Union's products and services.

 

 Membership Representative - Part-Time

Position works with our Marketing Manager to promote Sea West membership and product/service usage among active and retired military personnel, honorably discharged veterans, their families, and other Select Employer Groups.

 

Facilities Maintenance Coordinator - Part-Time

Position handles routine facilities and equipment maintenance, office supply ordering, mail distribution, and inter-office courier services.  With a work schedule of four (4) hours per day, this could be an ideal employment opportunity for a retiree or student.
